- That first hang-out outside
-
Ah, fresh air. Just imagine going to the beach, hiking, kayaking and just soaking up the sun once we’re allowed to! We’ll definitely appreciate all of those summertime activities more once our fears about the coronavirus have been lifted.
- Bars and restaurants reopening
-
This quarantine has really opened some people’s eyes to the fact that going out to bars and eating at restaurants are their only hobbies (myself included).
- Being able to hug and touch your friends again
-
Even if you aren’t a touchy person, you have to admit that keeping a six-foot distance between you and your loved ones is almost impossible.
- Coming back to Pitt for O-Week
-
After six months away from campus, I think it’s safe to say that this year’s O-Week will be an interesting one.
- Sitting in a classroom again
-
I never thought I’d say it, but I miss those hard, wooden Cathy chairs. More importantly, I miss being face-to-face with my professors and classmates.
- Football games (and sports in general)
-
That first Pitt football game once we’re back is definitely going to hit different.
- Going out
-
Regretting all those times this semester that you opted to stay in instead of going out? Yeah, me too.
- And finally, deleting Zoom
-
Out of sight, out of mind.
