9 Cozy Things to Wear to Class Besides Pajamas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pitt chapter.

As the days get shorter, the weather gets colder, and the end of the semester gets closer, it becomes more and more tempting to give up on looking cute and just wear pajamas to class. While this fashion choice is perfectly acceptable for a tired college student, I find that I’m more confident when I put a little bit of effort into my outfit. At the same time, I’m not about to sacrifice comfort for beauty, so I’ve compiled a list of items that will give you the best of both worlds.

1. Chunky Knit Beanie

Not only do these hats look super cute, but they’ll keep your head warm and cover up a bad hair day.

2. Blanket Scarf

These can be styled in so many different ways and make even the simplest outfit look put together.

3. Knit Pullover Hoodie

This type of top is effortless and super comfy! Dress it up with jeans and some jewelry or dress it down with your favorite pair of leggings.

4. Cable-Knit Sweater

These do wonders in keeping you warm on that dreaded walk to class.

5. Cardigan

A classic winter trend, cardigans go with virtually every outfit and make you feel like you’re wrapped in a soft blanket.

6. Sherpa

These pullovers are the comfiest clothing articles ever! You can even rep your school spirit with this Pitt Sherpa from Fanatics.

7. Teddy Coat

These fluffy jackets just recently became trendy and seem perfect for a cold, snowy day.

8. Fleece-Lined Leggings

If you’re going for the athleisure look, a pair of thick, fleece-lined leggings are bound to keep you warm and cozy.

9. High-Waisted Jeggings

A nice pair of jeggings will have you looking more put-together than a pair of sweatpants, but are still more comfortable than a pair of jeans.
