UP <3 Cathedral Coffee

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Portland chapter.

There’s a new guy in town, and it’s serving up delectable drinks created by friendly staff at Cathedral Coffee! From the open air garage setting to the staggeringly incredible “street art” from floor to ceiling (even in the bathroom), Cathedral is sure to be your place of refuge for intense studying or a casual coffee date. It’s located on Willamette Blvd., about a 20 minute walk from campus. Convenient and splendid!

Senior UP nursing student, Catalina Croteau, lounges in an eclectic corner at new coffee shop, Cathedral Coffee.

All you need is love and coffee. And when you get both in the same cup, life is swell.

Studying isn’t a chore when you have tasty coffee, jivin’ music and good vibes as junior psychology major, Rebecca Mion, found out.

Yellow. Check it out!

I like places. I like people. I like stories; every place, and every person has a story. I want to write as many stories about that place and those people until the stories run dry. Which is...never. So I will continue to write. Please, tell me a story.
Hailing from eastern Washington, Julia attends the University of Portland in Oregon, as a Communication Studies major with an emphasis on Journalism. As a magazine and book junkie, Julia reads everything (and anything) she can get her hands on, especially those passionate on young adult culture and entertainment. A woman that gets stir-crazy easily, Julia has been fortunate to have traveled many summers in a row to foreign countries, including a study abroad course in Austria, Germany, and Great Britain. Since a ripe age, she has grown and cultivated her passion and dream of working for a magazine and spreading awareness as well as happiness through the tips of her fingers. Always finding time for herself, Julia can frequently be found quoting movie lines (most frequently Will Ferrell or Vince Vaughn), having a 90's dance party with her roommates, or rereading "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" for the 40th time.
