What is your favorite club to be apart of?Â
Business Ambassadors because how active I am in it. We work the open  houses, high school events, school events representing the Black School of Business. It’s a great way to inform possible students and incoming students of all the business majors Penn State Behrend offers. It’s a really great way to learn about all the specific details of the school and get situated when any questions hit you.   Â
Â
How is Pennsylvania better than California?
It’s nice to be out in nature. I come from the city area. The snow’s kinda cool for like the first two days, it’s really seasonal. To be 100% clear Penn is not better than Cali.
Can you tell us about what they mean when people call you sky dragon?Â
My great-grandfather gave me the name, it’s Liu Tian Long which means Sky Dragon. Only a few people call me that. It was a name passed down to the first son and I was the first son on my mother’s sides of the family. Â
What made you choose to come all the way out to Pennsylvania for college?Â
I applied to schools across the east coast, I got accepted into schools in New York, Florida and Massachusetts. Although, Penn State had international business as a major instead of just a minor. I felt like Pennsylvania would be a cool place to be, I didn’t realize how cold it would be though. Â
Â
What has surprised you about going to school here?
The snow. I had a different expectation of the people here, everyone here is really nice. The simplicity of the school and how tightknit the classes are. You really get to have 1 on 1 time with your professor and get to build a relationship that can help you in the future. Â
Â
What do you miss most about home?
I miss the food. I’m so used to diverse food and here there’s only like one type of food. Everyone misses their friends and family. I also miss the weather. However, it is nice to leave and really experience living on your own and when you go back home it’s a nice vacation. Â
Can you tell us about your relation to Snoop Dogg?
Snoop Dogg lives four houses down from me and his youngest son played football at my high school. Alex Morgan went to my high school too, she comes over all the time and plays soccer. Â
Thank you for the interview Eric! HCXO
