Disney Christmas Movies you Forgot About Until Now

Disney+ has been up and running for about a month, and Disney fans have been using it to watch classic Disney movies, reminisce on Disney Channel, and witness baby Yoda. 

 

Now that the Christmas season is here, Disney Plus has a bunch of holiday movies and specials for fans to watch. There are even some old ones that people may have watched when they were younger on their VCR tapes (if you don’t know what that is, you’re too young for me). 

 

Here are a few of those older Disney Christmas movies you may have forgotten about. 

Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas

If you’re a die-hard Disney Fan like me, you know that Belle’s red, Christmas dress is one of the best. Well, if you remember, that dress is from the movie “Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.” 

The movie takes place in the middle of “Beauty and the Beast” during Christmastime, where Belle tries to bring Christmas to a grumpy Beast. It has really good songs such as, “As Long As There’s Christmas.” 

The Santa Clause

This Tim Allen classic always puts me in the Christmas mood. It tells the story of a regular man, but his life becomes not-so-regular after he starts to grow a belly and a white beard. It turns out he is assigned to be Santa that Christmas. 

 

The Santa 2 and 3 are on Disney Plus as well.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas 

This classic Christmas special is one I always loved to watch with my mom and sister with a cup of hot chocolate. It is a compilation of three Christmas stories told by Mickey and Friends, like “Mickey and Minnie’s Gift of the Magi.” That one always puts me in my feels.  

Mickey’s Christmas Carol

This is one of my favorites, and one I always used to watch. It is the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge, but told in the eyes of Mickey and Friends. Donald’s Uncle Scrooge as Scrooge, Donald is Scrooge’s nephew Fred, and Mickey is Bob Cratchit. 

Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws

Disney and dogs? Who could pass that up? Not me. 

 

“Santa Buddies” is one of the “Air Buddies” movies, where the Labrador Retriever pups set off on a mission to stop Christmas from disappearing forever.
