The End of the Semester As Told by Sex and the City

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

When I’m not busy cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles or taking women’s studies classes, I’m probably watching Sex and the City. So much so, that I had a male friend come to my apartment three weeks ago and made him sit with me on the couch through the wee hours of the night watching SATC re-runs – and yes, he liked the show!

So, there’s only one month left in the semester, and it seems like we’re going to make it out alive. But, just in case you’re failing to find any motivation, allow me to make you laugh for five minutes with some classic SATC gifs to describe your emotions:

1. When you’re at the lib and after hours of studying all you can think about is food.

2. When you’ve bombed an exam, but it’s finally the weekend.

3. When your best friend makes you go to a cycling class with her in IM in preparation for summer.

4. When you and your study buddy get your exam grade back.

5. When UBEReats shows up with your McDonalds, but you only have $3 left on your debit card.

6. When you fall asleep studying.

7. When your professor won’t round your C up to an A.

8. When you have to choose ordering pokeys over taking the Uber home from Fratland because you’re broke.

9. When you finally make it home after finals week with $1 in your bank account, your mental state in deterioration, and you can’t even go to Louie’s for a snack at 10 p.m. anymore. BUT, your dog is there to greet you at the door when you walk into your house.

I hope that was enough motivation for you to kick the rest of this semester’s ass like your Carrie Bradshaw.
