Fall is amazing. We all love fall because it’s sweater weather, meaning there are long nights spent in front of the fire and you can finally curl up with your SO. But there’s one thing we always obsess over this time of year: Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
Ah, the PSL. Seriously, this single drink has taken over the world. No matter what grocery store you find yourself in, there’s always a never-ending supply of pumpkin-themed treats that have rose to stardom thanks to this novelty Starbucks drink.
However, I’m here to tell you that there’s more to the fall season than this drink, so here’s a good list of some other fun fall treats:
1. Pumpkin Pie
Hey, I didn’t say this list was entirely without pumpkin. Pumpkin pie has been around for centuries, and it’s something that most of us have at our Thanksgiving dinner. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t have one on our fall weekends, or for those nights that get particularly tough after a long day of work or school. Grab a pumpkin pie next time you’re at a grocery store or a farmers market – you won’t regret it.
2. Apples
This is so simple, and apples are perfectly ripe this season. Apples alone are already sweet, but when you add caramel on top or a little bit of a chocolate drizzle, you’re in for an even sweeter treat.
3. Brownies
So technically this doesn’t count as an official fall treat, but I always make brownies around this time of year when the weather starts to get cold. Just imagine walking into your apartment and getting hit with the amazing smell of chocolate – I’m already drooling.
4. Potato Doughnuts
Trust me on this: these are amazing. You won’t regret biting into one of these doughy treats that can instantly brighten up your day. Believe it or not, there aren’t any actual potatoes used to make these – just potato flakes – and the little difference in flavor is amazing.

5. S’mores Brownie Pie
Need I say more? Just look at the picture that’s in front of you – it’s literally s’mores on top of a brownie. This treat will satisfy your fall sweet tooth, and take you back to summer without having to deal with campfires or the heat. This is definitely one of the easiest – and probably best – items on this list.

6. Maple Sugar Cookies
These sugar cookies mixed with maple syrup and coated with a maple glaze on top will surely fill your fall cravings. They’re everyone’s favorite sugar cookies with a twist, and this twist is absolutely delicious.

7. Hot Chocolate
What’s better than chocolate on a day when you’re craving something sweet? You can make it from scratch by grating fresh chocolate into warmed milk or just use mix to make it at home, and you could even just buy one from your local coffee shop. Either way, it’ll make you feel warm and fuzzy in so many ways.
Happy fall, collegiettes!
