Skincare isn’t always the easiest thing to maintain, especially as a college student. Are there nights where I go to bed with makeup on? Yes. Do I wash my face everyday? No.
So when I started breaking out and I looked like a greasy mess, I knew I had to take better care of my skin. I knew about Fourth Ray since its launch because I’m a Colourpop freak. I’d been attracted to their variety of products and affordable price. And the next thing I knew, I had two serums in my shopping cart.
I got the Rainfall serum and the Remedy serum. Rainfall is a hyaluronic acid serum and Remedy is a Niacinamide serum. For me, I have normal/combo skin which means I was looking for something with hydration and oil control. I knew that hyaluronic acid would add hydration to my skin and who doesn’t want a little extra moisture in their life. Niacinamide I had no idea what it was but according to the Fourth Ray site it’s a form of Vitamin B3 and perfects skin over time.
Once I got it delivered to me, I did both serums twice a day, in the morning and at night. Here’s what happened…
After a week my skin felt so much better and I could see a reduction of texture on my skin. A big problem I had before was little bumps on my forehead. Since I have bangs and oily skin, I assume that the bumps are caused by oil. After the serums, I had zero bumps on my forehead. Zero. I don’t know what they put in their stuff but it’s magic.
My cheeks have redness and I saw a reduction in redness after trying the serums. It’s not gone, but honestly not many things can tackle my redness, but it toned it down which I was a fan of.
I get breakouts and pimples all the time and had some before I started using the Fourth Ray products. After a week, I only had two breakouts on my ENTIRE face and none on my chin which is where they usually appear.
If you’re on the fence about Fourth Ray beauty, just go for it. The products I used worked and made my skin feel and look great. The price point is great for people who want to dabble in skincare and don’t wanna lose an arm and a leg for nice skin. In my book, I give Fourth Ray an A for creating great products that actually work.
