December is finally here and winter has officially arrived in State College. The below freezing temperatures, the scorching winds and the endless snowfall have all found their home in Happy Valley for another season. Though the weather has been far from the polar vortex we endured last year, we all have our fingers crossed that it won’t dip into the single digits for at least a few more weeks. Either way, no matter how much we complain, there is something truly magical about this university in the winter. It almost brings out the beauty of it all. Don’t get us wrong, this campus is beautiful no matter what the season, but with the twinkling lights, the endless bustle and the sporadic snowfall, there’s nothing quite like a winter in State College.Â
