Every year celebrities come out of the woodwork with their best costume designers and makeup artists to outdo everybody else with their Halloween costumes.
While we might never be able to do such high-grade costumes we can admire the work and dedication that some celebs have for Halloween. Here are my picks for the best Halloween costumes, in no particular order.
- Ice Spice as Betty Boop

The fast growing rapper pulled up to her first big scene Halloween as Betty Boop with a red mini dress and a Betty Boop black wig. The costume was perfect for her stature and popularity as she performed as Betty Boop at her concert in New Jersey.

Another year, another slam dunk costume for this “Riverdale” trio. Although the show is over, the main girls are still going strong together with their Halloween costumes. Last year they wowed everyone, going as the witches from “Hocus Pocus”, and this year they match their hair to their costumes yet again. Their costumes might not be super intricate but the trio’s power is strong with them.

In anticipation of the live-action “Wicked” film, this was one of the more fun costumes this Halloween. Not only was it amazingly put together, from the costumes to the green makeup, but it was also extremely adorable, Mitchell with her daughter, Rome Babel.

Kendall Jenner had a few looks lined up for Halloweekend including Marilyn Monroe and a joint Sugar and Spice costume with her sister, Kylie Jenner. Her Wonder Woman costume tops all of them, alongside a recreation of one of Carter’s famous transformation scenes.

After the infamous video of a young girl mistaking Halle Bailey for Whitney Houston, it only makes sense that she dressed up as “The Voice.” She recreated the cover of Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” as well as a few looks alongside her rapper boyfriend, DDG, who was dressed as Bobby Brown.

“The Sex Lives of College Girls” and “Mean Girls” musical star, Renee Rapp dressed as young Justin Bieber, specifically in his “One Less Lonely Girl” era outfit. She sang the song at her concert on Halloween to the “The Summer I Turned Pretty” lead, Lola Tung. Rapp truly embodied young Justin Bieber in both his mannerisms and his outfit.

What is a celeb Halloween costume list without the queen of Halloween herself, Heidi Klum? Every year Klum seems to top herself with a crazier and more elaborate costume, this year taking the form of a peacock. Talking about how she wanted to do a group-Cirque-du-Soleil-inspired costume, she came out as the body of the peacock while the rest of the group came out as the feathers. Bonus, her husband was an egg. Only Klum could make a simple animal like a peacock into a huge intricate Halloween costume.
One of the best parts of Halloween is looking at everyone’s costumes and the celebrities just take the admiring to whole new levels.
