Navajo print sweaters
Tribal print was all the rave this summer, and now Navajo print has gracefully taken its place with fall’s appearance. These sweaters, whetherin sleeveless vest or sweatshirt style, add a certain comfort and spice to an entire outfit; they practically make it! With its busy design, one more unique than the other; you can wear one over double-stitched leggings in a one tone color or even skinny jeans. You can find these funky styled sweaters at Urban Outfitters for $49.99, or be like the starving-college-student we all are and try a vintage-clothing store. (There is one not too far in Port Chester). This kind of cover-up is a guarantee to give your ensemble an earthy-fun pick up.
Oxford’s and wedge-booties
I must admit, as a huge advocate for wedge booties I often go for shades of black or gray. Only now that the leaves are beginning to turn a crisp yellow, it might be best to turn over a new leaf myself and try for nudes… and lots of it. Neutral and earth tones such as golds, maroons, oranges, browns and nudes are super fitting for fall, and also for your shoe wardrobe. So try for a pair of wedge booties such as Nine West’s NYOKO for$129.00, or go for its twin at Payless for only $35.00. As for Oxfords, Nine West also carries these in ARNEL. Both shoes are perfect for fall, and for mixing business and casual.
Leggings
There’s no surprise here, leggings are a collegiette’s™ essential, and almost always come in handy (You know those mornings when jeans just don’t fit like they should, and when you’re feigning for yoga pants even though you have that presentation to give in class? ..Yeah). There are some great snug and cozy pairs of leggings at plenty of stores, but quality is key. Why not try Anthropologie; built for those days when jeans just won’t do it and sweat pants aren’t enough. Also, H&M and Charlotte Russe carry various kinds in all designs, colors, and cuts.
So there you have it; your fall staples all swept up and ready to jump right into!
