Dearest Readers,
It is with great pleasure to announce we are a month away from the release of Part One of Bridgerton Season Three. I am so excited I actually think I could scream. I’ve been a huge fan of Bridgerton for a few years now, starting when I read the first book in the eight book series. I instantly became a huge fan of period dramas, especially period romance novels. I have since binged the show, multiple times, and I am practically shaking awaiting season three.
Since I read the books first, I noticed, thankfully, the show seems to follow the stories in the books quite well. Of course there is some added drama within each sibling storyline, but, overall, I have been able to see some of my favorite scenes in the books played out on the show. While I do have a long, long time to get to my favorite book in the series, I can not wait for Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, which is definitely in the top five in the series.Â
When it was announced that Colin and Penelope would be the leads of season three, I’ll admit I was disappointed. This was the first time I noticed a drastic change from the book series in switching the order of the siblings’ romance stories. The original order followed Daphne, Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Eloise, Francesca, Hyacinth and last, but not at all least, Gregory. But, now that we are seeing Colin take the main stage this season, I’m very curious to how the rest of the stories are going to be ordered.Â
I have so so many questions about this upcoming season and which siblings are going to stand out amongst Colin’s storyline. My current hopes involve Benedict meeting his leading lady, Sophie Beckett. Perhaps Francessca will meet the Sterling cousins; I really hope so. While I have no inside information, I do know that, if they remain true to the book, some exciting news is coming for Eloise fans. All that I know going into the next season is that our leading lady, Nicola Coughlan is giving us all the juicy easter eggs for upcoming scenes, some of the best book scenes I might add.Â
Dearest Readers, this author will be busy May 16th and June 13th so I will not be able to do anything at all except be transported into the social scene of London’s Ton.Â
