Like many others, I am sure for the past few months you have been engrossed in school, studying away, focused on understanding more and more information. Like many others, I am sure that now that summer is coming, you may be scrambling to come up with plans for the summer. Do not fret. I have a few ideas that you can add to your bucket list to make this summer the true break to help you recover from the semester!
- Mini-Golfing: This is a classic in every way. There are dozens of courses in each county. It would honestly be a shame to skip mini-golfing this season. Whether you are going with your besties that you haven’t seen since you left for the semester or are using this as a date-night, mini-golfing is the ultimate summer experience! Dress cute, take fun pictures, and have a blast mini-golfing this summer!
- Visit an Amusement/Water Park: Again, this is not original but this is another staple of the summer. Go with some friends or family and enjoy some time in the sun. Unless you get motion-sickness, this is a fun way to let loose this summer!
- 24 Hour Reading Challenge: This is for all the book girlies out there! If you are like me, I am sure you have seen the 24 hour reading challenge on Tik Tok but have not wanted to give up studying time to try it. However, the summer is the perfect time to tackle this challenge. If you have not heard of this, the 24 hour reading challenge is where you either, individually or with some friends, grab a few books, stock up on snacks, and set a timer for 24 hours where you just read as much as you can. For book lovers, this sounds like a dream. So this summer, good luck and happy reading!
- Visit a Farmer’s Market: Last but not least, you should take some time this summer to visit your local farmer’s market. This is yet another staple of the summer. There is nothing like walking around in the sun and supporting your local businesses. Go out, get some homemade jams, and make some fun summer memories!
This is not an exhaustive list of things to do but I hope these ideas help you grow your own unique summer bucket list!
