Jared Crank ’12

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

Every Boiler collegiette™ loves football season! Whether it is because of the tailgating, the school spirit, or just the love of football, it is certainly one of the most fun times of the year. For all of you Boilermakers who love football, I’d like to introduce you to a good friend of mine: Purdue fullback, Jared Crank. Next time you attend a Boilermaker football game (this weekend, perhaps?) make sure to keep an eye out for #48!

Name: Jared Crank
Year:  Senior
Age: 22
Hometown:  Dallas, Texas
Activities:  ?Football, school
Interests:  Family, meeting new people, traveling, trying new food, Swag
Relationship status: ?Single (All applications are welcome)

HC: What do you think about being Purdue’s Campus Cutie?
JC: I’m not really sure what to think, but I’m not going to complain about it!

HC: What three words would your friends use to describe you?
JC: Sporadic; humorous; entertaining

HC: What’s your favorite movie?
JC:  Step Brothers

HC: What do you look for in a girl?
JC: Someone who can understand my humor and can be themselves and not care what others think. An ambitious girl is very attractive. I also don’t always go for the “bombshell” girl. I like the unique girl that has that intrigue factor.

HC: What is your ideal date?
JC: My ideal date wouldn’t be the corny “dinner-and-a-movie”, or a long walk through the city or on the beach. I’d much rather go out with a girl and her friends so I can see the type of person that she is. People act themselves when they’re around the people they feel most comfortable with.

HC: What is a normal night out with the boys like?
JC:  A normal night? I’m not sure I’ve ever had one of those.
