For those of you who don’t often venture over to the corner of University and State, maybe it’s about time you do! With the opening of Marriott Hall also came the newest coffee spot on campus: LavAzza. Located in the lobby of Marriott, the large windows and open floor plan provide a light, airy, and welcoming feel. Whether you’re sitting down to study or grabbing a cup on-the-go, LavAzza has an abundance of delicious treats to offer!

Berrissimo

This delicious fruit smoothie is a great choice for those who have already had their caffeine kick for the day or want a cool and sweet treat. LavAzza’s menu for this delectable drink reads: “Forest fruit sorbet, with wild berry compote, and a drop of lemon juice.”

Gelato flavors: hazelnut, pistachio, wild berry, vanilla, espresso, chocolate chip, and strawberry

Amanda Norell is a junior at Purdue University where she is working toward a communication degree, supplemented by an art and design minor. A true Midwesterner, Amanda was born in Chicago and raised in northern Indiana, just minutes from the Michigan border. In addition to being Purdue's Campus Correspondent, Amanda is also a junior board member on Liberal Arts Student Council, a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, and has both edited and written for The Exponent, Purdue's independent daily student newspaper.  She has held internships in both event planning and career development, and has her sights set on becoming an event and wedding planner after graduation.
