Winter is coming… and sooner than we expected! And what comes along with frigid weather? Dry skin! If you want your face to be moisturized and soft through these cold months, try out these all natural face masks you can make yourself!

Moisturizing: These masks will replenish your skin with the natural (and healthy) oils necessary for a glowy complexion – even in the winter!

1. Smoothing Banana Mix: Who thought that bananas were great for you, inside and out? This is simple and quick to make – and all you need is a small bowl to mix it in!

The mix: 1 medium banana, 2 tablespoons of honey, ¼ cup of plain yogurt. Apply it to your face and allow it to sit for 15 minute. Rinse off, pat dry, and you’re good to go!

2. Sweet Oatmeal: The oatmeal in this mask will help to soak up any excess oil on the skin and soothe dry winter skin. Honey is also an amazing natural moisturizer.

The mix: ¼ cup of old-fashioned oatmeal, 2 tablespoons of honey, ¼ cup water. First cook the oatmeal and allow it to cool down. Then, add the honey and mix together thoroughly.  If you have a blender it isn’t necessary to cook the oatmeal.* Apply evenly on your face. Leave on for about 15 minutes, rinse off and voila!

*The purpose of cooking or blending the oatmeal is to get it to a creamy consistency.

3. Avocado and Honey: Thought you could only use avocados for guacamole? Well, think again! With these two moisturizers your skin will be left gorgeous and glowing.

The mix: ½ of an avocado and ¼ cup honey. First, mash the avocado thoroughly. Then, add the honey and mix it all together. Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off and pat to dry.

Exfoliators: These are meant for scrubbing away any dead skin cells off of your face. Exfoliating also helps to remove blackheads and stimulate circulation in your skin. The result? Unbelievably soft and smooth skin!

4. Brown Sugar Scrub: Your face will be feeling soft and sweet after using this scrub!

The mix: 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon olive oil. Mix the oil and sugar together and apply to your face. Leave on for about 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

5. Wake up Coffee Scrub: If you love waking up to the smell of coffee, then you’ll enjoy this facemask in the morning.

The mix: 1 and ½ tablespoon of coffee grinds, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon olive oil. Mix together and then apply to face. Leave on for about 15 minutes, rinse with warm water and then pat dry with a towel.
