Winter break has come to an end, which means the start of a new semester yet again. But this time, I’m coming back to campus as a second-semester senior. (Scary!) The realization that only a few short months stand between myself and graduation is quite the eye-opener, to say the least. Here are some thoughts that have crossed the mind of every second-semester senior:
1. When you come back to school from what felt like an endless winter break…
2. …only to be greeted by the thought that graduation is only four months awayÂ
3. So you immediately text your friends all of the plans you want to do before the semester ends…
4.  …which obviously includes a lot of nights out in New Haven…
5. …and plenty of mornings at Whitney Donut or Acrop
6. So being a second-semester senior isn’t that bad, right?
7. OK, maybe it is.Â
8. I mean, I am an adult and all…
9. But I’m not ready to TRULY adult yet…
10. We’re still college students, after allÂ
11. So we might as well live it up while we can!Â
