Watch out Class of 2014! Inside Palmer Hall lies the central cloister, which surrounds the Rhodes College seal. One of the oldest and most popular traditions at Rhodes is to avoid walking over the seal AT ALL COSTS. Walking over the seal results in not graduating in four years, I don’t think any of us want to suffer that fate. Also, take a look at the Halliburton Tower, built in honor of Richard Halliburton, a Memphis-native who is said to be the model for Indiana Jones! Hmmm, maybe Harrison Ford should pay a visit to the Rhodes Bubble? Who knew Rhodes held so many great traditions?
