What activities are you involved in on campus?

I am involved with Delta Gamma, Order of Omega, Catholic Newman
Community, Student Leadership Advisory Committee and the Health
Promotion Office.

Can you explain a little bit about what you do for the Health Promotion office?

I work in the Health Promotion Office at UHS. I am in charge of the
Facebook page and the twitter account, updating for of these accounts
with information about different events and programs that the Health
Promotion Office promotes. I am also the Campus Correspondent for the
e-magazine Student Health 101. In this position I interview students
around campus each month asking them different health related
questions. Each month I try to focus on a particular health topic and
get student opinions about each topic. I use the twitter and facebook
pages to promote this magazine.  I try to get more students interested
in the work of the Health Promotion Office by engaging with our social
media sites, attending out events, reading Student Health 101 and even
being interviewed in this e-magazine!

What will you miss the most about the U of R?

I will miss the people here the most. From my friends, to my
professors, to staff- there are so many people here that have made the
past four years so enjoyable and such a positive experience- I will
definitely miss them. I have learned so much about myself, about
others, and about my views on the world from the conversations and
relationships with people here at Rochester that will I will carry
with me in the future.

Any advice for underclasswomen?

I would say that the key to college is balancing time. Make sure to
manage your time efficiently. There is so much the Rochester has to
offer and you should try to take advantage of all that is here.
However, the only way to fully experience all that you can is to
balance your time efficiently to make time for everything that you
want to do!
