Hey, everyone! This week’s campus cutie is one super cute and fun gal; meet Ashley Higginbotham, a graduating senior!
Originally from Mullica Hill NJ, Ashley is completing her degree in psychology this semester. She also spent her college career taking part in the Gamma Delta chapter of Theta Phi Alpha, one of the many sororities offered here on campus.
Unfortunately for Ashley, the weather is getting colder which stinks because she loves the summer! Hang in there, girl! It’ll come back eventually.
When Ashley isn’t busy studying, she likes to read, and watch tv shows with lots of drama and action, like the Walking Dead. One of her favorite movies is The Hunger Games. She also likes to go out with her friends, grab a bite to eat, and then head on over to participate in some sorority events. She also likes to spend time with animals!
When asked what her favorite vacation was, Ashley didn’t have an answer, because the best trip she’s ever gone on wasn’t a vacation, it was a volunteer trip through MEDLIFE to Lima, Peru to help give medical care to those less fortunate than us. She says “I learned so much about the community and they were so grateful for our services. I also consider this to be my most cherished memory.”
For her upcoming career and educational goals, Ashley has applied to Rowan and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for an M.A. in School Psychology. She hopes to be a licensed school psychologist.
Ashley thinks all freshmen should know how important it is to get involved on campus. “Getting involved keeps you focused, and allows you to create great memories.”
Finally, Ashley thinks all girls need to know that “accepting and liking are two different things. You can accept somebody that you don’t like and still treat them with respect. Which is also something that everybody should know.”
Good luck with everything Ashley, we are so proud of you!
