When I approached Ray Saker to ask if he would be willing to be interviewed as a Campus Cutie for Her Campus, he dropped to his knees, threw his fists in the air, and exclaimed, “I’M A CAMPUS CUTIE!” And that is precisely the reason I chose him. So, without further ado, let me introduce you to Ray…

Describe your perfect day?
“Two to three hours of hanging out with friends, and the rest of the day I would be watching TV on my laptop, probably. I’d also eat tons of snacks.”
Â
How do you woo girls?
“Usually I don’t have to woo, they woo me…I don’t know how to woo a girl so usually I don’t woo.”
Â
Three things you would bring with you to a deserted island?
“A boat and two friends.”
Â
What are some of your favorite things to do?
“Hang out, play and listen to music, and watch TV.”
Â
What is your favorite part about being a Residential Assistant?
“Wow, that’s a tough one. Probably everything… My residents are amazing.”
Â
If it started raining one type of animal, which animal would you choose and why?
“Kittens. I love to cuddle kittens. I love to pet kittens. I like to look at kittens. I like to hang out with kittens. If I was allowed to have kittens on campus, I would. I would be a crazy cat cutie. A CCC. I would just scoop up kittens. I wouldn’t be concerned about kittens falling out of the sky because they always land on their feet. I’d like to consider myself a kitten, because whatever life throws at me I always land on my feet.”

Why are you so passionatre about television?
“Whenever I read something or watch something, whenever I follow characters, I get really attached to them. You’re establishing a relationship with these characters over a long period of time. I really like television about characters. You get to know them and when you leave the show or it ends, or the character leaves or dies…you feel like you had a real connection with them.”
