the uneven eyelids
the unsightly freckles
a mouth that crinkles up the skin
around when she smiles
the wisp in curly hair
the dark circles, puffy at their best
the laugh where not a sound comes out
the face that is in the gold embossed mirror
when i manage to get myself out of bed
just to stare into my own eyes, just to
spend hours picking myself asunderÂ
the face that makes my whole mood
double back and change when i catch
sight of it in a store window fortuitiously
when will
the face
