One of the best ways to beat the winter blues is to spend those dreary cold days in the kitchen! There’s nothing more comforting than turning on the oven (bonus points for extra warmth!) and whipping up a batch of muffins, a cake, or fresh baked bread…hey, maybe even healthy doughnuts!

Make some soup! Any other time of the year is too warm to have soup, so grab your ingredients and make your favorite soup. It’s guaranteed to warm you inside and out! Plus, soup can help you feel better during cold and flu season.

Another great way to beat the winter blues is to create a blanket fort! Grab all those blankets and pillows and build your own cozy habitat. Blanket forts are also a great place to watch movies or tv with friends or significant others

Spending a night in is always a great choice during the winter. Watch a movie you’ve been meaning to see and order some delivery so you don’t have to be outside in the cold weather.

Pamper yourself. Take a nice hot bath with some bath salts or bath bomb, and then relax with a face mask. Paint your nails as you binge episodes of the Office or Friends! No better time than cozy time!
