Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of my workout inspiration from Instagram, particularly for lifting weights in the gym. I’ve found a few awesome female influencers who post all kinds of workouts, whether for the gym or at home.
1. Kayla Itsines (@kayla_itsines)
Kayla is the creator of the Sweat app and the Bikini Body Guide program, where the workouts last just 28 minutes- perfect for busy college students. She specializes in training exclusively women, and also posts some great nutritional inspiration- her philosophy is all about including high quality, nutritious food in your diet, and never restricting yourself.
2. Olivia Jarvis (@oliviajarviss)
Olivia posts some awesome strength training videos, and also has a YouTube channel she updates regularly with vlogs, recipes, and workout tips. Olivia takes a completely realistic approach to nutrition and fitness, which is ideal for young women with a lot on their plate.
3. Cali Fuller (@califullerfit)
Cali’s one of my favorites for workouts you can do anywhere- she has a perfect variety of equipment free bodyweight workouts to gym friendly strength training tips. She also just came out with her own resistance bands that are totally cute.
4. Heather Robertson (@heatherrobertsoncom)
Heather’s workouts are great for those who like switching it up- she posts strength training, Pilates, barre, and tabata style videos on her Instagram and YouTube. Many of them are low-impact, so you don’t have to worry about disturbing your neighbors with jumping when you can’t get a time slot at the gym. Not to mention, she has some awesome playlists in her videos.
