8 Thoughts For Your 8am

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sacred Heart chapter.

We all know what it’s like to experience the joy of an 8am. Whether you were stuck taking one freshman year, or you found out it’s with an easy teacher, we all have had at least one encounter with this wonderful class time. But hey, it will get you up early, right? You’ll be able to get your day started way ahead of when you usually will, and you’ll be SO productive. It may sound like a good idea to begin with, but after just the first class or two, your thoughts tend to wander like this …

1. First Class: “I can handle it – it won’t be that bad.”

2. Third/Fourth Class: “Why did I do this to myself?”

3. “It should be illegal for me to wake up this early”

4. “But my bed is so warm and comfy!”

5. “Why are these people dressed so nice for an 8am?”

6. “This must be what hell feels like.”

7. “Class is over!!!!! Back to bed I go.”

8. “I’m never doing this to myself & taking an 8am again.”
