Bella Hadid is know for her iconic “off-duty model” street style. Her daring style is a major inspiration to try something new in our own everyday wardrobe, but her outfits tend to be pretty expensive. Any college student can agree that there is not much room in the budget for splurging on these designer pieces. That doesn’t mean we can’t try out a few new looks without breaking the bank! Here are two looks that are easy to recreate with some super affordable pieces along with some staples from your own closet.
Outfit 1: Embroidered Jeans & Lace:
This outfit is the perfect blend of casual and sexy, perfect for the transition from day to night if you’re schedule doesn’t allow for a quick change after long day before heading out to dinner. This outfit costs over $900 between the embroidered jeans (Sandro $200) and the fur coat, which was probably upwards of $300. ASOS comes in clutch when it comes to trendy pieces such as embroidered jeans and ShopCrystalline is a good place to look for fur if you’re not ready to invest.

Crystalline Black Long Sleeve Fur Coat ($54):
Her bodysuit is from Gooseberry Intimates ($139): any girl’s dream when it comes to lace teddies, but for those who want to get the look without spending an entire paycheck, Love Culture and Boohoo have some pretty convincing options.
Love Culture Black Lace Cut Out Bodysuit ($25):
Boohoo Cross Front Mesh Bodysuit ($11 on sale):
For this look, any black zip up sweatshirt will do the trick paired with some Steve Madden booties that are a steal compared to Bella’s Stuart Weitzman Clingers ($447). To complete the outfit, simply grab a small black bag or any bag you’re using at the moment and substitute the Le Spec aviators ($89) with this more affordable option from ASOS.
Madden Girl Fantaysa Bootie DSW ($40):
ASOS Metal Frame with Clear Lens ($18):
Outfit 2: Dressed Down Sweater Dress:
This look is more on the casual side and is comfortable while still being put together. It’s perfect for anything from class to work, or even grabbing lunch with the girls. The total outfit comes to about $1,300 between the Chanel Quilted Mini Backpack ($1,000 & up) and the Cameo Sweater Dress ($161) paired with the Nike Air Force 1 High with the metallic emblem ($100). Luckily, this look is super easy to recreate and you’ll even have some cash left to treat yourself to a large iced coffee on your way to class.
Any off-the-shoulder dress will do, I liked this one from Boohoo, which is pretty cheap, not to mention the constant discount codes they have (usually 40-50% off).
Boohoo off the shoulder dress ($28):
Unless you happen to have this mini Chanel lying around in your closet, Forever 21 has some options that will give the same effect without dipping into your savings. This quilted alternative comes in baby blue (similar to Bella’s), light pink, and white. Feel free to experiment with color or go for a more monochromatic look.
Forever 21 Mini Quilted Backpack ($22):
For shoes, if you do not want to commit to the white Nikes because of the price tag or if they’re not something you think will get a lot of wear, these ASOS sneakers look so similar. They will last you a decent amount of time for the price. The sneakers come in white and pink. If you liked the metallic touches Bella’s shoes had, ASOS also has some adorable metallic options that are slightly more pricey but still more wallet-friendly, especially when they go on sale.
ASOS Lace Up Sneakers ($31):
Oasis Leather Metallic Panel Sneakers ($68):
Bella’s layered gold chokers and simple hoop earrings pull the outfit together in an effortless “I just threw this on” kind of way. You can achieve the same effortless vibe by adding a couple of simple chokers. Windsor has some incredible options as well as online stores such as Boohoo, Missguided, or ASOS. Feel free to add any toned down statement earrings you like and you’re good to go! Here’s one of my favorite combos:
Windsor Gold Multi Choker Chain ($12):
Windsor Texture Metal Choker ($9):
Now that you know where to find Bella’s trendy pieces for a steal, happy shopping ladies!
