Fall is my favorite season because there is always so much going on around you. School is back in session, the weather is great because it’s not too hot but not too cold. Along with how there are always so many different activities you can do by yourself, with your friends or family, or whoever you want to do them with. If you’re like me and want to plan a bunch of different activities for the fall but don’t know which ones to start with then this article is for you!
- Pumpkin picking
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is picking pumpkins. Picking pumpkins is an activity that my family and I do almost every year. One of the best parts is once you pick your favorite you get to take it home and can carve it, decorate it, or even paint it.
- Apple picking
Another super popular and one of the best fall activities is apple picking. Apple picking is always so fun and really gets me in the fall spirit. My favorite part about it is getting to eat apple cider donuts and drink apple cider. Along with picking pumpkins one of the best parts is after you pick the apples and get to make apple pies and my favorite apple crisps.
- Watch halloween movies
Have a relaxing day and watch some Halloween movies! My favorite Halloween movie of all time is Hocus Pocus but there are so many different ones that range from horror to comedy to drama depending on what your favorite genre is.
- Go to a haunted house
Another fun fun activity to do during the fall and to get you into the Halloween spirit is to go to a haunted house! Here in Connecticut there are a bunch of different haunted houses and haunted places to visit. There is the Fairfield Hills State Hospital in Newtown, CT, along with Legends of Fear in Sheldon, CT which has haunted hayrides and scary trails.
