If you’re like me, then your girlfriends have become your family while away at school; they’re your home away from home. Your girls are your comfort zone. For me, this is my last semester of college. Things are slowly dwindling down for me. All my lasts are here: my last sylly week, my last formal and my last spring break. We decided to go big for our last spring break, go big or go home right?
We decided to hit up South Beach and my God, was it the best decision we’ve ever made.
We did everything from sippin’ margs on the beach to hangin’ with FoodGod (Kim K’s bestie) to partying on a boat all day long to chillin’ at the boujiest day party…I guess you could say we were living our best lives.
My girls are my life, they’ve been there through everything with me. All the ups and all the downs during these past four years. It’s a bittersweet feeling knowing that we’ve made it to the end. Everything’s about to change and just as much as it scares me, it’s exciting to see what the future has in store for me and the rest of my girl gang.
Miami was the perfect way of celebrating how far we’ve all come, from those scared little high schoolers at orientation awkwardly introducing ourselves to each other, to confident, young women ready to take on anything life throws our way.
Miami is the piece of senior year that we can hold onto forever and will relive every year because we’re definitely making this an annual thing.
