My Top Three Beauty Products for Self-Isolation

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sacred Heart chapter.

During this time while we are all participating in self-isolation, it can be hard to find the motivation to put on a full face of makeup when there’s nobody around to see you. However, it is super important to get ready everyday and keep yourself moving forward, even if that means a quick messy bun and your favorite fashionable sweatpants! As far as makeup goes, I love doing a quick natural look that takes 5 minutes, and makes me feel my best! I’ve compiled a list of my top three most used beauty products that help me get ready in self-isolation.

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara

My first favorite product is the classic clear mascara everyone has seen when walking down the beauty aisle in the drugstore. I love to use this mascara not for my eyes, but for my eyebrows! It is the perfect touch to my brows that keeps them looking clean and groomed, without having to spend extra time filling them in.

Glossier Lash Slick

This Glossier mascara is my favorite makeup item for a supper natural look! It does a great job at lengthening and separating your lashes, and doesn’t clump! The thin brush applies a light layer of mascara to give your eyes an extra pop, without being too heavy.

Milk Makeup Holographic Stick

My next favorite makeup product for a self-isolated glow up is this awesome highlighting stick! I love this product because it is so light and easy to apply. It helps to add a pretty holographic sheen to the high points of your face without being too full of glitter or sparkle. It is the perfect product to give your face a healthy dewy glow that looks so beautiful!

Take this time to treat and pamper yourself with lots of fun self-care activities! Doing you rmakeup and getting yourself ready for each day can make the time pass by faster and keep you on a healty routine. Stay safe, healthy, and beautiful!
