Five Great Youtubers For a A Belle’s Needs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Saint Mary's chapter.

Saint Mary’s College offers really helpful workshops on prioritizing and balancing life. Any girl wants instructions on homework, financial aid, and relationships. However, sometimes those workshops conflict with our busy schedules. We miss out on important tips which makes for an unorganized, unhappy Belle. YouTube gives us free videos to watch at any time. Here are some of my highly recommended YouTubers who give real opinions about being in college, spurt witty advice, and teach us how to stay in shape.

1. NerdyAndQuirky

Seventeen-year-old Sabrina hails from Canada. She discusses just about everything from feminism to friend crushes. The name of her channel precisely summarizes what she’s all about: all things nerdy and quirky. Whether talking about political issues or her favorite food, she somehow is always able to include intelligent humor into her videos.

2. Katherout

Even though sophomore Katherine from the University of Southern California (USC) is all the way across the country, her advice is still very applicable to us Belles. Her channel is primarily on college. She offers practical concepts and fresh tips to the college student. Katherine has videos on self-confidence, involvement with clubs, and balancing her busy life as a business major.

3. Yoga with Adriene

Texan Adriene Mischler is an actor and yoga teacher. She puts out amazing yoga videos for any person whether that individual is a beginner, intermediate, or professional. Whenever a Belle needs to de-stress, she can go to Adriene for relaxation. Her motto is “to find what feels good.” For new yogis, definitely check out her thirty-day series.

4. annemariechase

Annemarie Chase is another sophomore at USC (yes, she knows Katherine) and is originally from Anchorage, Alaska. She has videos on college as well but hers are lifestyle-oriented. Annemarie promotes healthy living at college as well as dorm décor and the like.

5. vlogbrothers

Brothers John Green (author of The Fault in Our Stars and many more wonderful books) and Hank Green produce daily videos on literally anything. From politics to mushy gushy feelings, the pair cover a spectrum of topics. Both are big on promoting charities and informing the general public on domestic and international crises. If you want to get more alert on the world around us, watch vlogbrothers.
