That’s right, kids, winter is officially no more as of March 20th. But, the real proof isn’t the budding flowers and trees, but the blooming wardrobe of Stylish Smicks all across campus.
From sun dresses and sandals to skirts and pastel accessories, girls are shedding their winter coats and chunky boots for lighter and more colorful pieces..
Earlier this week, I sat down with freshman Itzxul Moreno to discuss this seasons fashion. “My ideal Spring outfit would have to be a fresh pop over accompanied with a bright pair of JCrew Chinos, cute and comfy Tory Burch sandals, tied together with a nice statement necklace, my Longchamp and Raybans.”
However, as we all know, April showers bring May flowers and if we want to see our campus at it’s best, we’ve got to hunker down for those pesky storms. But, don’t let those foreboding rain clouds scare you. Dressing up for those gloomy days can be easy and fun! Raincoats and rainboots are a necessity for Spring and luckily, there are plenty of options to jazz up your wardrobe.
Whatever you wear this Spring, wear it with confidence because a smile is your best accessory. So, Stylish Smicks, what’s your Spring fashion statement?
