Every person has their own list of their favorite tv shows, and of course I have a list of my own. I love becoming engrossed in a television show and all the interesting characters. I tried to create a diverse list of all kinds of television shows that are my favorites. I put them in no particular order!
1. The Killing – All four seasons available on Netflix
The show follows detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder, as they investigate murder cases in Seattle, Washington. This show is great because of the relationship between these two detectives and how their lives are affected by the case they are trying to solve. Ugh, need more episodes.
2. Veep – Five seasons available on HBO Go

Veep is witty, sarcastic and every episode is laugh out loud funny. Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Vice President Selina Meyer, as she goes day to day through her job as VP and the people that work with and for her.
3. Peaky Blinders – Three seasons available on Netflix

The Shelby brothers and their family in 1920 Birmingham, England in the gang the Peaky Blinders. They are known as the Peaky Blinders for sewing razor blades in the peaks of their caps. The acting is incredible, and while being a gangster show it still deals with family, love and friendship.
4. Rupaul’s Drag Race

Amazing makeup, outfits, creativity and personalities. Rupaul’s Drag Race is a show unlike any other. Drag queens expressing themselves through challenges and runways. Every season is different from each one and makes the show unique!
5. True Detective – First season available on HBO Go

These eight episodes will leave you at the edge of your seat. Set in Louisiana, two detectives are investigating a murder that continues to haunt them 17 years later. The show does an excellent job of flashing forward and connecting the past and the present. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson give amazing performances that are unforgettable. This show is really dark and the setting is extremely creepy. If these are the kind of shows you like, this is perfect for you!
6. Breaking Bad – All five seasons available on Netflix

Breaking Bad is one of the best series I have EVER watched, every single season contained amazing acting, writing and cinematography. Bryan Cranston plays Walter White, a chemistry teacher that gets diagnosed with cancer and wants to make sure his family is taken care of when he is gone. He resorts to cooking meth with his former high school student Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul. This show is an absolute must watch!!!
7. Parks and Recreation – All seven seasons available on Netflix

Parks and Recreation is extremely hilarious, witty and sarcastic. Every single character has their own distinct personality, and are all memorable. Each episode is only 20 minutes long, so it is perfect for binge watching. Give this show a chance, you will not regret it!
8. Marcella – Season 1 available on Netflix

Not many people have heard of Marcella, but it is a Netflix original series. It only has one season and it is hard to stop watching once you have started. Marcella is a detective that is going back to work after having been off for so long raising her children. She goes back to work, right as a serial killer emerges that she has investigated before. This show is dark and really twisted, but the acting is incredible!!
9. Bob’s Burgers – Two seasons available on Netflix

All there is to say is, TINAAAAAA. Even though everyone loves Tina, every single character is memorable and hilarious. This show will have you laughing at every episode while the Belcher family tries to hold it together to keep their family restaurant open and full of customers. They seem to run into trouble at every burger they flip.
10. Boardwalk Empire – All five seasons available on HBO Go

Steve Buscemi kills it as Nucky Thompson, an Atlantic City politician, that also plays a role in selling loads of illegal alcohol during the Prohibition times. He is dealing with trying to further himself in political matters, while at the same time handling business with the gangsters on the East Coast. The greatest thing about a show being over already, is that you can go and watch every single episode without having to wait. So go forth and binge-watch!
