Everything begins on social media, just like the trend of “romanticizing’ life. People sometimes call it having a main character vibe because it makes life easier and more fun to get through that way. Creators on TikTok have shown people how to do this with simple things like a walk. Escaping reality and pretending that life is like Pride and Prejudice set in a faraway cottage.

Self-love is an important key to master through college, and in life. When romanticizing life it can help create love for oneself as it helps be in tune with things you love or are passionate about. Being alone does not have to be lonely, but a way to escape and do activities or projects that are just for you.

People have been finding this method easier to cope with life. It helps make things achievable when you don’t want to do them. TikTok shows different ways this can be done. For example, making coffee can seem like a task, but making a fancy coffee or putting it in a favorite cute mug can make such a difference. Buy flowers for yourself from Trader Joes or any store.

Here are a couple ways to start:

♡ Start a morning routine

♡ Go on a photo walk

♡ Make a playlist for different moments

♡ Make a vision board

♡ Take a mini adventure

♡ Dress for yourself

Life can be stressful sometimes, so putting a positive spin on something can make life more bearable. People on social media have been coming up with different ways to live life. Look up videos that will aspire to a romanticized life.
