6. Advice for people in a long distance relationship? Being in a long distance relationship is not easy, especially going from seeing each other every single day at school to only seeing each other one weekend a month. It’s hard, but we make it work. Everyone asked us if we would stay together when we left for college and the thought of breaking up never even crossed my mind. Of course, we would stay together! We have phone dates almost every night. And my boyfriend gave me this journal that I write in about everything that I did. Sometimes we are too busy to talk, and I forget things quickly. I write everything down in my journal and when we see each other he reads all the pages and he absolutely loves it! Being apart is hard but being together makes the distance all worth while!
