The first place to look for costume ideas is Ragstock. They usually have a lot of stuff and cheaper things than going to Spirit Halloween!

Some ideas that I found for costumes that would be pretty easy for you to recreate without spending a lot are:

1. A zombie

I did this costume last year. I bought a Halloween shirt from Walmart and some fish net tights and then cut them up. I also bought fake blood and put hand prints and slash marks on myself. It was definitely a easy and comfortable costume! You can smudge and dust black or grey eyeshadow to make you look more dead.

2. A nurse

Ragstock will probably have a couple different options for a nurse costume. You could try finding scrubs, or they should have dresses there and accessories to go with it!

3. A lifeguard

A lifeguard costume might be a little more difficult to do unless you know someone who has a one piece swimsuit. You could do a one piece swimsuit with running shorts and a whistle with a rain jacket over you or around your waist!

4. Barbie

For a Barbie costume you could dress up 2 ways. You could do like a workout Barbie and wear a bodysuit with leggings, legs warmers, and sweatbands or you could do just a pink dress with high heels and wear a “hello my name is Barbie” on it.

5. Frat boy

I have also done this look before! I wore a button up shirt, Sperry’s with white tube socks, jean shorts, and a hat.

6. Kim Possible

For a kim possible costume I think of green cargo pants and a black crop top. You can mix this costume up however you want by maybe wearing green jogger pants and a black body suit, or a black tank top, however you decide. If you want to go all out and get a ginger colored wig you can but if you wanted to just do loose curls in your hair instead, that works too!

7. Robber

If you’re looking for a more comfortable look for Halloween, this is a good look to go with. You could wear leggings with a stripped shirt and maybe add a black beanie and some combat boots!

8. Cop

Again, Ragstock or Goodwill should be a great places to be able to piece together an outfit for a cop costume since it’s a little more difficult to find stuff for. I’m sure you could find a top to go with maybe a blue pair of shorts or leggings and you could buy some handcuffs from Spencer’s to add effect!

9. Doodlebob from SpongeBob

I thought this was such a cute and fun costume when I came across it. You can just go buy a big white t-shirt and either buy black paint or a black sharpie and draw the Doodlebob character on the front of it. If you wanted to add an extra touch to the costume, you could try to find a big pencil that the character carries around in the show to complete your look.

10. Alien

Ragstock has so many options for this costume! They have shimmery tops, skirts, and leggings. You could probably find some cute antenna headbands too if you wanted there or even get some at party city! You could also get some cool matte lip stick to go with your costume!

11. Devil

When I think of a devil costume I think of two different ways you could do it. You could do a red dress with some red or black heels and some devil horns or you could do a white dress with a red cape with heels and devil horns and maybe even a wand!

12. Angel

Whether it’s a Victoria Secret angel or just an angel, curled hair and wearing white will complete the look. What should you wear? Pretty light weight pjs or lingerie will do the job. You can find a silk robe almost anywhere. Look through Target, Marshalls, Tjmaxx, Walmart, etc.

13. Regina George

You could go buy a white tank top and if you do not have a different colored bra you can always get a purple colored tank top to go under it and just cut two holes out of the shirt and you can pair this with a black jean skirt!
