How to get that Spring Break Bod

Alright ladies, the three week countdown to spring break has officially begun. How are you going to get that beach bod in just three short weeks? Here are some tips to get you bathing suit ready before you jump on the plane.

 

1.     Be more active in everyday life

 

Instead of taking the elevator up to the third floor of the library you could take the stairs. Your legs might hurt and you might be out of breath, but hey, every little bit counts.

 

2.     Choose more healthy options in the cafeteria.

 

Instead of opting for the pizza or pasta when the entrée in the cafeteria sucks, eat a salad with some Italian dressing. It may not be the best tasting option in the cafeteria, but your beach bod will thank you for that in three weeks. Eating salad is also a great way to increase your vegetable intake. Fruits and vegies are very important in a well balanced diet.

 

3.     Finally, it is important for you to workout.

 

Lee Lohman may not have the best workout facility in the world, but it is still a place for you to workout and be active. If you don’t want to run the 11.25 laps on the track for a mile you can jog on the treadmill or elliptical. There are also plenty of free weights and machines for you to take advantage of if you know how to use them.

 

So, even though these tips are pretty self-explanatory, they will get you ready to take on spring break wherever your destination may be.
