Tis the season for spooky season. Halloween is filled with cute pumpkin carving
photos and sipping some hot apple cider while you’re looking at the leaves changing
colors. But Halloween is also the time for some thrills and jump scares.
Variations of different haunted houses, mansions, corn mazes, and hayrack rides have
become overly popular with students wanting to feel the excitement of being spooked and
the rush of adrenaline that they may have. As they creep closer to the time, emotions
rise as students sign a waiver before they enter the haunted place.
Horror films have also been a hot commodity while students are on the edge of
their seats wondering what is going to happen next. Throughout the last couple of
years, a lot of blockbuster horror films have been released, and students are loving them.
Students also get the thrill of watching Halloween movies that they have already seen.
The classic films are always a rewatch every year as the same goosebumps rise on
people’s arms as the same scary events occur.
People want to be scared. Frightened. Terrified. Students sit through long hours
of classes and some are interested in experiencing the shock and fright factor after a
long day. Along with haunted attractions and scary movies, masks and costumes are an
added bonus to the frightfulness. Halloween is a great season as spookiness creeps
around every corner.
