Are you the girl that finds yourself daydreaming about that guy you met the other day? Are you too scared to talk to him? Or maybe you have no clue what to say? No worries girlfriend, here are some tips on how to feel that “hunka hunka burning love” this Valentine’s day.

1. Get out of your comfort zone and make a move

Sometimes you have to make the first move! Your crush most likely isn’t going to notice that your hardcore crushin’ on him. Let’s be honest ladies, sometimes guys are oblivious! So it’s up to you to let him know that you’re interested. Maybe ask him on a study date, or ask to go on a coffee date? You never know what will happen until you try. Make that man LOOK YOUR WAY.

2. Lock Eyes 

Eye contact is the perfect way to let someone know you like them. Nothing is more awkward than being on a first date and having weak eye-contact. The best advice is to try and avoid looking down when you’re talking to your crush. Locking eyes with your crush is a confident move and we all know that confidence is attractive. Who knows, maybe the second you stare into your crush’s eyes, cupid’s bow hits the both of you! 

3. Find out what your crush likes 

The easiest way to start a discussion with someone is to talk about something they like! Most people associate happy feelings with the things they’re passionate about. If you can get the guy you like to talk about his passion, not only will he connect on a deeper level with you (oo la la), but he will also connect the good vibes from that conversation to you as a person! And who doesn’t love to see their crush light up about something they’re truly passionate about? How adorable!

4. Show your affection… maybe with a Valentine?

Don’t be afraid to tell your crush how you feel. But don’t just run up to your crush without ever speaking to them before and telling them you like them… get to know them first. Tip #3 should definitely be completed before tip #4. And we can’t forget that Valentine’s day is coming right around the corner! Use it to your advantage and buy your crush a little something to make him smile. It could be something as simple as chocolate, a hot drink, or maybe even a small teddy bear. Anything that shows you have him on your mind, could possibly tie the knot!

5. BE YOU 

One of the worst things you could do when flirting with your crush is act like someone you’re not. If your crush starts to like the fake version of you then you’re in trouble sista because they don’t actually like YOU for YOU. Any man that doesn’t like who you are as a person, doesn’t deserve you. Remember that! As they say, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. The best advice I can give you is to show your true self to your crush. The only way to have a successful relationship with your crush is to show them exactly who you are.
