When Valentine’s Day comes around, every guy is on the scramble to figure out what to do to make the day special for their favorite girl. The thing is, they make this job way too complicated for themselves. A way to girl’s heart is much more direct than it seems…
1. Chocolate
I can’t speak for all girls, but anytime my boyfriend pulls a bag of snickers out from behind his back to surprise me, I’m excited. Chocolate of any kind is the perfect pick me up for any occasion. Trust Professor Lupin, “Eat it, you’ll feel better.”
2. Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Like I said, chocolateĀ really is the way to go, but these are even better because they are kindaaaaaa healthy at the same time. They also look super cute and make for good presentation when trying to “wow” your love.
3. Food in General
I know the expression says that “a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,” but the same goes for girls, we get hungry, too ;) Take her out for a casual trip to Noodles & Co. or a fancy night out (this gives her an excuse to dress up!) The real trick though is to show up to her door with a heart shaped pizza – total swoon!Ā
4. Cozy Blanket & Movie
Dude, it really doesn’t take much. All a girl really wants on the holiday is a little bit of thoughtful giving. This means that cuddling up together and watching a movie you’ve been talking about seeing is the perfect way to enjoy time together. Can you feel the love tonight? I guess you’ll have to wait and see!
5. Whatever is On Her Wish List
If you remember something she randomly told you she wants and give it to her, she will think that is just the sweetest thing. Not only is this thoughtful giving, but you know that she’ll like it and that’s a double win!
6. Handwritten Card
Whenever I read a message straight from the heart, it makes my heart melt. Nothing says “I love you” more than a personalized message from that special someone.
7. Make aĀ Special Moment
Take the time to make a special memory, capture it with a picture, and save it in your heart. Valentine’s Day can beĀ every day that we are thankful to be sharing life with an amazing person, but why not make this day something for the books!
