TikTok influencer Noah Miller posted a TikTok to the song All in My Head (Flex) by Fifth Harmony captioning it, “What do y’all know about this song.” There was no specific reason for posting that video only just to show off his love for the song.

He then proceeded to post a different video on his account to the same song and viewers started to realize how much they missed the infamous girl group and that they would band together to try and reunite the girls. This triggered the “Fifth Harmony Renaissance.”

Soon, everyone on TikTok started making videos of their infamous song to the point the number of streams on a variety of Fifth Harmony songs started to drastically increase. This caught the attention of three out of five members: Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke and Lauren Jauregui. Although this whole event was not on my 2024 Bingo card, I am not complaining.

When Fifth Harmony first put out music, their songs were always on my playlist. Growing up, they were the main band I was listening to. So, when I heard the members were all going their separate ways, I was sad. Although they do sound good individually, they are better together (if you know, you know).

In case you do not know who Fifth Harmony is, they were a five-person girl group that consisted of Camilla Cabello, Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui. They were formed by Simon Cowell in July 2014 when the girls decided to go on X Factor. Since then, they have made well-known hits such as Bo$$, Sledgehammer, and Work from Home. The group had a successful music career until 2016 when Cabello announced she was leaving to pursue a solo career. Even though she left, the girls proceeded to make music under the same name. Soon, the group announced their separation in 2018.

Now, six years after their split, the internet is begging for them to come back together. You see, if Fifth Harmony were to make a return to the music industry, I would not be mad about it. I enjoyed their music so much because a lot of their songs are viewed as a representation of women’s empowerment.

One of their songs, Brave Honest Beautiful is such an underrated song. In that song, they proceed to name a lot of iconic women in the music industry such as Rihanna, Shakira, Beyonce and Madonna. They are telling you to not listen to what everyone else has to say and just learn to love yourself for who you are.

So, if you have never listened to their music, I would highly recommend checking them out. That way, you can understand the hype behind the Fifth Harmony. Who knows, they could make a surprise appearance at next year’s Super Bowl.
