Spring offers us the opportunity to reset and rejuvenate. We clean out the old to make room for the new. I find that spring is a great time to experiment with new products and styles. Below are my current favorite products that I think are perfect to incorporate into your spring lifestyle. 

fenty gloss bomb heat

This is the only lip gloss I use every day. Seriously- it is that good. Rhianna’s coveted Gloss Bomb comes in several formulas, including luminizer, ice, heat, and cream. I prefer the Heat lip glosses because they have a plumping effect. My current favorite shade is Hot Cherry- a sheer red shade perfect for spring. Even better- it smells like maraschino cherries. 

batiste volumizing dry shampoo

I used to hate dry shampoo. It would leave a white residue against my brown hair. I could not notice it working on my hair. This was all until my mom introduced me to the Batiste Volumizing Dry Shampoo. It transforms my dull, flat hair. Even on days I wash my hair, I spray some of the product on my roots for added volume. I always get compliments on my hair when I use this product. 

odele air dry perfector

I try to avoid using heat on my hair every day, but air drying my hair leaves it frizzy and tangled. I was searching the store for products to apply after the shower when I stumbled across the Odele Air Dry Perfector. It feels similar to hair gel but works wonders from the scalp to the ends. I have noticed that it stops frizz, adds shine, and makes my hair feel soft and weightless. 

e.l.f. hydrating camo concealer

Being on Accutane, I have to be extremely careful of the makeup I use. As far as drugstore concealers go, this one is my favorite. It is a beautiful, seamless finish that makes my skin look healthy and glowy. This concealer does not cause breakouts. It is one of the few concealers I own that does not crease under my eyes after I apply setting powder. 

Milani make it last setting spray

I used to think I did not need to use setting spray; I thought it was pointless. My friend recommended this to me and being the beauty guru she is, I had to listen. I now use this setting spray every day, whether I’m just wearing concealer or a full face of makeup. It truly keeps my makeup secure all day long. 

tower 28 sos daily rescue spray

I was searching the internet for products for rosacea when this came across my feed. I use this spray after cleansing and before moisturizing. It seems to calm my redness and inflammation. I have seen many people on the internet suggest using this product on airplanes to avoid the acne that seems inevitable after a long flight. 

Katie is a Junior at St. Bonaventure University. She is an executive board member for Her Campus at SBU. Her experience with social media, advertising, and writing allow her to combine her passions and advance her university's chapter of HC. She has been a part of Her Campus since freshman year. Katie will eagerly engage in any conversation about her beloved hometown, Buffalo, New York. She will likely attempt to convert you to become a Buffalo Bills fan, and could talk about Josh Allen for hours. Post-grad, Katie hopes to be using her creative talents towards a fulfilling career in the world of advertising.
