It’s the last week of classes and next week is finals. In shorter words- it’s hell.
Trying to keep up with everything happening at once is very exhausting. When I’m stressed, I don’t eat very well. Sometimes, I don’t have an appetite and other times it’s all junk foods. But I’ve learned to cut myself some slack. As long as I’m eating and drinking water than it’s okay. It’s only for a short period of time. So take my mind off classes and finals I’ve decided to write about what kind of desserts I love to eat.
Brownies
Brownies hold a special place in my heart. They’re the first dessert that I tried to make on my own. Something about brownies is very addicting. Maybe the chocolate. I’ve made M&M brownies, cinnamon brownies, powdered brownies and brownies with white chocolate chips. Mixing different ingredients produces a unique taste every time. At any event if they serve brownies I’ll eat them.
Cinnamon Rolls
With the icing on top?? Delicious. I also want to try cinnamon roll cake at least once in my life. Homemade cinnamon rolls taste much better than store bought ones. There’s also cinnamon roll French toast and cinnamon roll casseroles. I don’t like French toast cinnamon rolls though.
Krispy Kreme Donuts
Would you believe me if I told you that I’ve only had Krispy Kreme donuts once in my life?? Since they’re only in select locations around the U.S. I had to travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to taste the famous donuts. When I got there I couldn’t believe there was a line outside the door. Once I was able to get inside I saw that there was a glass window where I could see the crew working on the donuts and the conveyor belt that looped in the back. There’s no point in lying I got two boxes of a dozen glazed donuts. One box was for my friends back at school. There’s no denying that Krispy Kreme donuts have a unique taste compared to other donuts. I will be taking a trip back down to Erie soon because I can’t get those donuts out of my head.
Cream Puffs
I haven’t had a cream puff in a very long time. It reminds me of my childhood. I’ve had the vanilla and chocolate filled ones. Once I even tried to make a cream puff cake, but I failed. Cream puffs are easily my favorite because they’re so small! It’s easy to eat a lot in one sitting. They don’t fill you up so quickly and it’s a perfect after-dinner dessert to snack on.
