Taylor really doesnât take a week off, does she? She recently performed four shows in Tokyo then the next day won the Super Bowl in her rookie season. Truly no one is doing it like her.
Welcome to part two of underrated Taylor Swift songs! If you havenât read part one from last week, GO. NOW.Â
Here are my remaining underrated Taylor Swift songs.Â
Daylight â Live From Paris
I really didnât like this song until I heard the live version. She just sounds so happy, and the crowd is so fun! Hate Joe Alwyn all you want, but without him, we wouldnât have this amazing love song (along with many other great songs on this list)
âThrew out our cloaks and our daggers because itâs morning now Itâs brighter nowâ

Peace
mad woman
I LOVE THIS SONG. I cannot express to you the feminine rage that comes over me when I hear this song. Taylor spends the whole song expressing how she is a âmad womanâ because of the things other people have done to her but she gets blamed for it, but the real star of this song is the end. Taylor accuses Scooter Braun of cheating on his wife. She then says his wife knows of his affairs and she should be angry âBut no one likes a mad woman.”
âAnd youâll poke that bear âtil her claws come out And you find something to wrap your noose aroundâ

Cowboy Like me
I truly believe this song is the closest we will ever get to Taylor re-entering the country genre. This song is so amazing to me because it feels both lyrically simplistic but also complex at the same time. Taylor writes from the perspective of a woman trying to con a rich person into falling in love with her but in the process gaining feelings for a man with the same goal. When this song comes on, I am putting on my cowboy hat and the fakest country accent you have ever heard. Yeehaw partner.Â
âNow you hang from my lips like the Gardens of Babylon With your boots beneath my bed Forever is the sweetest conâ

Sweet Nothing
Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve
This track appears on the 3 a.m. edition of Midnights and maybe, just maybe, itâs my favorite on the entire album. This song is Taylor reflecting on a relationship she was in when she was 19 (John Mayer). She talks about the relationship ending and thinking about all the things she believed she could have done differently. Now that she is older she recognizes that she shouldnât blame herself and the relationship was doomed from the start.
âThe tomb wonât close Stained glass windows in my mind I regret you all the timeâ
