3 New Restaurants to Try on Broughton Street

Having food on campus is great, but it can get repetative over time, causing us to want to spice up our meals. Broughton Street is one of the most popular areas for shops, entertainment and most importantly food. Check out our three favorite places to grab a bite to eat when the Hive’s pizza and salad bar just isn’t cutting it. 

Beetnix

Beetnix is the perfect place if you want to live a healthy lifestyle and feel like your body needs a cleanse. If you are cold-pressed obsessed you need to check Beetnix out immediately. Though the prices are a bit steep, their smoothie bowls and other goodies are a must-have!

What I missed the most last quarter was some good Asian food within walking distance. It is hard to find good Asian food in Savannah, but it is even harder to find some good Asian food that is in a convenient location for SCAD students. Wok Inn is the perfect place because of the location, generous portions, friendly service and reasonable prices. 

If you go to SCAD then you probably drink coffee like it is water. We can never have too many coffee places around SCAD, so we are more than happy to welcome Blend. Blend tries to take you around the world with every sip of their coffee. The trip to Broughton Street is definitely worth it to taste coffee from around the world.
