I cannot believe that I am at the end of my junior year of college. I feel like I just got to Scranton. In reality, I have been here three years and made so many friends, memories and experienced so many different things.
Junior year especially has taught me so many life lessons. Nearing the end of my time here at Scranton, I have begun applying to vet school which was really an eye opener. I realized that I can’t take the time now for granted. I have one more year with my best friends and then we are going to do greater things apart.
Thinking about that makes me sad, but also makes me cherish the things we do together. I would now like to share a couple of my favorite memories from junior year.
First would be painting our table. It took us about two weeks to paint but it was one of our first bonding experiences in our apartment. I will forever be impressed on how well we painted that table.
Saint Patty’s Day weekend was also another favorite memory. It was so much fun and my friends from home got to come and meet my roommates and other friends. It was like my two worlds colliding and I had such a great time.
Another experience from my junior year was taking Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy lab. I think it has been my favorite class I have taken so far. I got to dissect and learn muscles and bones in a cat, shark, and other animals.
I cannot wait for all the memories and experiences I am going to make next year. Last one, best one!
