This is a poem for any best friend who needs to hear that they are an awesome human being and are loved very much!

You are the kindest soul I’ve ever met

I don’t think I have ever told you this at all.

How I love to receive phone calls from you

At the same time almost everyday

How I know that I at least have one person in this world

That I can text at any time without annoying them.

Your soul is full of color, even if you don’t know it

You can brighten the gloomiest days

And overcome the worlds hardest challenges.

Yes, you have your hard days too

But you never fail to stop going even if you say you will.

And maybe all of this is just because I look up to you

But I think all this still stands true.

Never in my life would I have thought

That somewhere in this world

There would be a heart like yours.

You came to be my safe place,

And I will forever be grateful for that.

Thank you.
