Campus Involvement: Seattle University Men’s Soccer

HC: Tell me about playing for the Seattle University men’s soccer team.

It’s great being on the team; we are more than just a soccer team. I have made some amazing friends, and my team has taught me a lot more than just the sport. I have learned life lessons that will stay with me long after I am done playing. However, at times I feel like I am part of the cross-country team with the amount of running we do!

HC: What are your future career aspirations?

I hope to take what I have learned at Seattle University and within my degree to be involved in philanthropy in the future.

HC: What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

There is a bunch! The most recent would be when our soccer team was leaving Seattle for a game early in the morning. We were leaving the Connolly Center, when I realized I forgot to bring my passport with me to get on the plane. I had to give the bus driver directions to my off-campus apartment and nearly got him stuck on the small city streets. It turned out that I had to sprint four blocks to my apartment and back to the bus. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I did not even need my passport because I had my driver’s license on me. I didn’t tell my coach because he already wasn’t happy with me. To top it all off, I ended up causing a penalty kick that forced us into extra-time, where we lost … embarrassing weekend overall!

HC: What do you find most attractive in a woman?

I find it attractive when a woman is fearless, selfless and she has gorgeous eyes.

HC: If there were a movie being made about your life, whom would you want to be cast as you?

Tom Hardy

HC: Where is your favorite place in Seattle?

There is a huge mossy pipe in the middle of the forest in Washington Park Arboretum. I love it because it is a really quiet place, although it is a small mission to find it. Myrtle Edwards Park and Elliott Bay Park are close seconds for my favorite spots in Seattle.

HC: What song do you have on replay right now?

I don’t have any one song on replay right now, but I have been listening to a lot of J. Cole and Boyce Avenue.

HC: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?

Japan; it’s actually the 10th item on my bucket list.
