As festival season rolls around, it’s a common beginners mistake to show up a music festival equipped with nothing but a flower crown and some granola bars. However, seasoned festival goers know that there’s a lot more preparation that must happen in order to maximize fun. For music festival veterans, the packing process has become a subtle art. At Sasquatch, where you’ll be camping in the sun for 4 days, it’s crucial to have a foolproof checklist to help you navigate the chaos.

(Provided are links to the items you’ll need!)

Portable Charger

It’s pretty much inevitable that at some point during a festival your phone will die and you’ll be separated from your group for a while. However, you can prolong the life of your smartphone with an external battery charger. Check out this one, currently way marked down from its original price.

Dry Shampoo

Why wait in the shower line for hours when you can spritz and go with this handy, travel-sized dry shampoo? Plus it comes with a fresh scent to disguise that no-so-pleasant camping odor.

Disposable Camera

When your phone dies, what better way to capture the moment with an old school disposable camera? They’re cheap, hardy, and get bonus-points for being waterproof.

Multipurpose Soap

Scrub your body, face, and pots with the same all-in-one soap! Dr. Bronner’s is a long time crowd favorite, we like the lavender kind for being moisturizing, organic and cruelty-free.

Makeup Wipes

Another multipurpose favorite, makeup wipes will make a world of difference when attempting to remove dirt, sweat, and makeup.

Earplugs

Earplugs get a bad rep for being dorky, but the season festival goer knows the value of protecting their hearing and getting a good night’s sleep. Bring a big pack and pass them out to meet friends.

An Open Mind

Regardless of how much planning you’ve done leading up the big weekend, remember that it won’t go exactly how you imagined. Be open to spontaneity, meeting new people, and lots of dirt!

Now that you’ve got the supplied needed to survive, throw it all in your bag and have a fun and safe Sasquatch!
