Megan Scime, Junior, is a standout student here at Seton Hall University, and is more than worthy of a spotlight.
She is a part of the Buccino Leadership Program in Stillman Business School, which she will graduate from in 2020.
Scime says, “the leadership do is by far the most impressive thing on my resume. The program has given me access to some of the top executives in the state, I am beyond thankful for my experience and know that it will continue to help me long after my college years.”
She is currently a double major, double minor, and contributes on campus in various aspects.
Her extracurricular activities include participating in seven clubs and initiatives, being president of four clubs.
Around campus, she can be seen in her “blue crew” shirt giving tours for incoming freshman and potential new students.
She is also a proud member of Alpha Gamma Delta, a sorority on campus. Scime gushes about the sorority, “being a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta has given me unique connections you cannot form outside of Greek life and has been truly influential in my path to collegiate success.”
Off campus she has an impressive internship working with New Jersey Senator Corey Booker, who recently just announced that he is running in the 2020 election. This isn’t a new field for Scime either, this past summer she added an internship with New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to her resume. She noted that she is thankful for the opportunities she’s been given, the connections she’s made, and the skills she had learned. “As someone who is only 21 and working in politics it’s amazing to be working for such a young influential face in the national light.”
Watch out for Megan Scime in the future because she is sure to go places and make her mark.
