New makeup is basically magical. I was lucky enough to get the Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette by Tarte and I am absolutely loving it. I’ve been really enjoying the variety of colors on this palette.Â
My favorites so far are the shimmer colors- Ethereal, Glam, Minx, and Trendy- but I love the matte colors as well. Overall, the palette is full of really warm, rich colors, perfect for fall and winter. Of the matte shades, I’ve worn No Filter the most. It’s a gorgeous shade of mauve that’s surprisingly easy to wear.Â
I typically only wear neutrals, so this palette has given me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. With colors that range from pale cream to deep wine. It’s a great variety.Â
For an every day look, I’ve been pairing Fierce with Classic, it’s very neutral and easy to wear. I’m really pale, so it might not work as well on darker skin tones, for which I would suggest replacing Classic with Innocent so that the color is more visible.Â
Personally, I think most of these colors are better for going out, but that’s just an opinion. My favorite color combination for evening is either Drama or Minx with Profesh. Minx is very similar in shade to Drama, but it has a lot more shimmer. Personally, I like Minx a bit better, because shimmer is a little more dramatic.
Overall, I would give this five stars. It’s a great variety of colors, and there aren’t any that I wouldn’t wear, which is pretty rare for a palette with twenty different shades on it.Â
